complete with 10 days of virtual and in-person events between June 2-11, 2023.

Friday June 2nd

10am - 3pm Canadian Coast Guard Open House at 25 Huron St, Victoria

10am - 11:30am Sensational Seaweeds- Guided Walk!

11am - 3pm Cadboro Bay Beach Clean Up

12pm - 3pm WORLD OCEAN DAY at Royal Roads

Celebrate ocean week with Royal Roads University and friends! Take part in bird watching, help Build-a-whale with Strawberry Isle, explore the Giant Map of Canada and more!

1pm - 4pm Art with a Purpose Workshop with the Royal BC Museum (Registration required)

11am - 3pm WORLD OCEAN DAY CELEBRATION at Sidney's Beacon Park 

Celebrate the ocean with the Shaw Centre for the Salish Sea and friends! This free community event in Sidney's Beacon Park - is fun for the whole family!

3pm - 5pm Beach Clean Up at Clover Point, family friendly activities, educational Ocean Talks and more!

Join us for our 9th annual World Ocean Day celebrations at Fisherman's Wharf! This fun, free, family-friendly event brings together a variety of conservation organizations from around the Salish Sea, including divers and touch tanks. Discover what's happening in your big blue backyard!
