Celebrate the ocean with the Shaw Centre for the Salish Sea and friends! Kick off Ocean Week Victoria with this free community event that is fun for the whole family.

Salty Sunday: Linocut Printmaking

Join us at the Maritime Museum of BC for an educational and creative drop-in program where participants can create linocut bookmark or postcard prints, while learning about Salish Sea animals and their ecosystems.

Songs from the Nearshore

Songs from the Nearshore is a multidisciplinary piece combining music and dance with science communication. The original musical score and choreography are inspired by real tide and wave data from across Canada.

Surfrider Foundation Canada’s South Vancouver Island chapter is thrilled to host their World Ocean Day beach cleanup in partnership with RAVEN Trust! This year, in addition to cleaning the coastline, we will also be raising funds to support RAVEN’s campaign for Heiltsuk First Nation.

11th Annual World Ocean Day Celebrations at Fisherman’s Wharf, Victoria
